Planning it well
Think about where the money changes hands. The stalls that earn best sit on the main walking route between the gate and the cake table, so give the candy floss machine and any pay-per-go games a pitch people pass twice. Keep the bouncy castle on the flattest grass you have, away from the tombola queue, with a parent rota for supervision agreed before the day. A laminated price list and a float of pound coins will save every volunteer's sanity.
Oxfordshire school fields have two reliable features, a long walk from the nearest plug socket and weather that cannot make its mind up. Check where your power is early, because inflatables and floss machines both need a socket, and tell us the distance when you book so we bring enough cable. Have a wet plan too. Most school halls will take the soft play and games if it pours, and a fete that moves indoors still raises money.

Can the PTA charge for the equipment on the day?
Yes, and most do. Hiring the kit for a flat price and charging per go is how fetes turn our machines and castle into fundraising profit. Set a simple price, keep a float handy, and put a volunteer on each pitch. The candy floss and popcorn supplies included cover 50 servings each, and we can bring more if you tell us at booking.
When do you deliver and collect on fete day?
We set up before your gates open and collect after you close, timed around the school day rather than ours. Tell us your open and close times in the booking notes, along with any site rules like no vehicles on the field after a set hour, and we plan the drop around them. If the field is locked between times, we can usually work with a keyholder.
What happens if it rains on the day?
Fetes have moved indoors since the dawn of time and the kit copes. The giant games, soft play and both machines are happy in a school hall, and the bouncy castle can join them if the ceiling allows. If the forecast looks grim we call the day before and help you decide: move indoors, swap the date or take a full refund on weather we cannot beat.
