Planning it well
Book earlier than feels sensible. Christmas dates go in one particular order, the Fridays and Saturdays in mid-December first, then everything either side, and kit follows the same pattern. Decide your date in the autumn and lock the hire in when you book the venue. Think about the room too: the dance floor needs firm level flooring and about 45 minutes of build time, so agree access with the venue for the afternoon rather than the hour before.
Plan the evening as two halves. Food, speeches and Secret Santa early while everyone can still hear, then the lights drop and the floor takes over. Put the photo booth or mirror near the bar, not the dance floor, so both stay busy all night. And if your venue has a curfew, plenty of village halls near Faringdon call time at ten or eleven, a silent disco keeps the party legal to the last song.

How far ahead should we book for December?
For the popular mid-December Fridays and Saturdays, book as soon as your venue is confirmed, early autumn is ideal. Midweek dates and early December stay open longer and are a smart choice if your team can swing it. Booking is online, so you can lock a date in the time it takes the planning meeting to argue about the menu.
Will the kit fit in our venue?
Almost certainly. The photo booth fits through a standard doorway and needs about 2m by 1.3m, the mirror wants 2.5m by 2m including its red carpet, and the standard dance floor is 12ft square on any firm level surface. Send us the venue name and room details in the booking notes and we will sanity-check the layout before the day.
When do you set up and take everything away?
We coordinate with your venue directly. The dance floor takes about 45 minutes and the booths around an hour, so we usually arrive in the afternoon and have everything twinkling before your first guest. At the end we break down quietly the same night or the next morning, whichever the venue prefers. December evenings are busy, so confirm your access times early.
