Cricklade calls itself the first town on the Thames, and the river really is barely a stream as it slips past North Meadow. We are about 14 miles away in Faringdon, so the SN6 run to Cricklade, Latton, Ashton Keynes, Leigh and Purton Stoke is an easy one for us. This is a town that turns out properly for a do, and we keep the van loaded accordingly.

Gardens on the Thames side are long and flat, which is good news for giant games and a candy floss machine on a trestle. The villages toward Ashton Keynes and the lakes lean on marquees and farm barns for weddings. Wherever the party is, we carry the kit in and take it away after.
Some lanes between Cricklade and the lakes flood in a wet winter, and we know which ones. A marketplace supplier from three counties away is finding that out on your party day. One van from Faringdon, one delivery slot, and the owner checks every peg, plug and headset himself.
We also cover the villages around Cricklade, including Latton, Ashton Keynes, Leigh, Purton Stoke, Marston Meysey.
Yes. Cricklade is about 14 miles from our base in Faringdon, well inside the 30-mile patch where every hire includes delivery, set up and collection at no extra cost.
Yes, and Leigh, Purton Stoke and Marston Meysey while we are at it. All of them sit comfortably inside our 30 miles from Faringdon, and because delivery, set up and collection are included, a silent disco in a Latton garden is booked exactly like one in Cricklade itself.
The silent disco was made for exactly this. Thirty LED headsets, three channels, and the only noise after ten is laughing and some regrettable singing. Halls with close neighbours love it, and the transmitters cover the hall and the garden outside it at the same time, so smokers do not miss a song.
